Coral started life as an independent retail bookmaker in the UK, growing to 1,800 shops. In 2016 Coral merged with Ladbrokes to become 'Ladbrokes Coral' which in turn was acquired by the gambling giant GVC.
Being part of GVC has the advantages of economies of scale - this is the reason the Ladbrokes website and Coral website are now very visually similar.
What exactly does this mean for lotto bettors? Well, unfortunately, it's not all good news. Since the merger both Coral and Ladbrokes have started offering odds on fewer lotteries. Previously Coral offered odds on more lotteries than any other bookmaker - now, they only offer odds on Irish, Daily Millions and 49's.
Coral and Ladbrokes both independently set their odds for the lotteries offered. Coral are typically better odds than Ladbrokes although are quite below par when compared to other bookmakers such as Betfred or Bet365.
Coral do have a welcome offer for lottery bettors, although it's not very attractive compared with some bookmakers. Their current offer is 10% cashback* when a bettor spends over £10 on lottery bets in any given week. To check other bookmakers' offers click here.

We find the usability decent at Coral. They have a simple way to quick pick more than 3 balls. Finding lotto odds is quite tricky.

Coral have a limit of £100,000 that can be won by a customer on any single lottery draw. However this limit doesn't apply to the Irish lottery, Monday Millions and 49's 6-number draws where the maximum amount that can be won is £500,000.

Why do corals advertise odds on their website for the Irish lottery example for a treble you get 700/1 6ball 375/1 7ball. I put a bet on in shop on my connect only got paid 600/1 and 360/1

No 49's At The Moment
Coral isn't offering 49's at the moment which is a shame. I'm now betting on the Daily Millions which Is everyday, you just win less for 3 balls.
Not the same jackpots
The lotto at Coral is different, not the same jackpots, but you can win more with less numbers

Matched 3 numbers and won £400 on Daily Millons! Love it. Much better prize than I'd get for matching 3 on another lottery

Good fun
Took me a while to get my head around "lotto betting". It's quite similar to getting a ticket, but you can choose how many numbers you pick. Obviously the less numbers you pick, the better your chances but the smaller the prizes
